ක, n. The first consonant of the alphabet, K. When no vowel is written with it, like all the consonants, it is vocalized by means of the first vowel අ, which though unwritten is pronounced after it, as ක ka.

කිණු මසා, n. black fish, a fresh-water fish.

කර ටිය, n. part above the shoulders: neck, ‍බෙල්ල; top of the stem from which the branches grow.

කෝමලතාව, n. softness &c., මෘදුකම &c.

කැලඹෙනවා, v. i. to be agitated, alarmed, dismayed, put to confusion; pret. කැලඹුණ.
