සතප්පනවා, සතප්පවනවා. සතප්වනවා, v. c. of සැතපෙනවා: to cause to beep or rest, lay down to beep, බාවනවා; to satisfy, please, assuage, සහනයකරනවා, සන්සිඳුවනවා; pret. සැතැප්පුවා; සැතැප්පෙවුවා; v. n. සැතැප්පීම, සැතැප්පවීම.

ස්කන්‍ධය, n. shoulder, උරඉස; body, trunk, කඳ; mass, multitude or quantity. රැස, සමූහය, army, සේනාව; book, section or chapter, කාණ්ඩය, පරිච්ජේදය; element or object of sense, as form, sound, scent, flavour, substance, see පංචස්කන්‍ධ and පංචකාම.

සෛන්‍ධව, a. marine, oceanic, මුහුදු, සමූද්‍ර; pert. to or produced in Sindh or its river.

සප්තාංග, n. pl. (·අංග portions), seven requisites of a kingdom, viz. Lord or king, prime minister, friend or ally, wealth, territory, fortifications and an army.

සර්‍ව·සම, a. the same to all, impartial, අසමසමවූ.
