සංඛ·මුණ්ඩකය, n. (·මුඩ් to shave, bare), conch-shaving or baring, viz. one of the thirty-two punishments inflieted on criminals, rubbing the head with gravel till it is as bare of flesh as a conch shell.

සකුණගඝී, n. lit. bird-destroyer or eater, viz. Indian falcon, falco peregrinator or Pondicherry eagle, කුරුළුගොයා.
