ස, prefix for සහ and sometimes for සං: with, together with, accompanying; also for සය, six.

සෞන්‍දර්‍ය්‍ය, a. fr. සුන්‍දර: beautiful, lovely, අලංකාර.

සමතැස්, a. (සමත universal, ඇස් eye-), all-seeing, ep. of Buddha, සැමදේ දකින බුදුන්.

සං·ඥා·නාමය, n. appellation, proper name.

ස·විලාස, a. wanton, libidinous, රාගවත්.

සං·සර්‍ගාභාවය, n. (සංසර්‍ග union [of body and soul). අභාවය non-entity), non-transmigration or non-existence either in the past, the present or the future, viz, past non-existence, extinction of the present, and final annihilation or cessation of further existence.

සිව්·පිළි·සිඹියා, n pl. (පිළි emp., සිඹියා knowledge. See පටිසමගිදාන), the four kinds of knowledge attained by Rahats, viz. of meaning, අර්‍ථ, of religious doctrines, ධර්‍ම, of commentaries on the same, නිරුක්ති, and superhuman enlightenment ප්‍රතිහාන.

ස්ථායි, n. (ස්ථා to stand), steady, firm, unchangeable, ස්ථිර, සවි, පිහිටි, වෙනස්නොවෙන, see අධිෂ්ඨාන.

සු·තනු, a. (සු very), very thin, bender, ඉතාතුනී.
