සිව්·පිළි·සිඹියා, n pl. (පිළි emp., සිඹියා knowledge. See පටිසමගිදාන), the four kinds of knowledge attained by Rahats, viz. of meaning, අර්‍ථ, of religious doctrines, ධර්‍ම, of commentaries on the same, නිරුක්ති, and superhuman enlightenment ප්‍රතිහාන.

සරසි·රුභය, n. (රුහ් to grow), water-growth, viz. lotus.

සමාරෝහය, n. (සං with, emp.), mounting, ascending, නැගීම.

සු·දර්‍ශනයා, n. keen-sighted one, viz. vulture, ගිජු ලිහිණියා.

සු·වස, a. or n. E. of සුවර්‍චක.

සමනළකන්ද, n. (for සමත්තකූටය), ap. of Adam's Peak, ශ්‍රීපාදකන්ද.

සතන, n. mind, heart, මනස, සිත.

සං·ක්‍රමණය, සං·ක්‍රමය, n. going with or through, passing along, going on, යාම, මැදින් or අනුව‍ යාම: transit, transition (of the sun &c., through the zodiac).
