ස·ලකුණුකරනවා, v. to put a mark on, mark, sign; delineate.

සර්‍ව·ස්ථානත්‍වය, n. ubiquity, omnipresence, see සර්‍වභූතස්ථය.

ස්වයම්භූ, a. (භූ to become or exist), self-derived or self-existent; one's own, independent, ස්වකීය; ep. of Brahma and of Buddha.

ස්නායු, n. pl. or a. tendons &c.; pert. to the tendons or muscles or nerves; නහර.

සකෘදාගාමි, a. (සකෘත් once, ආගමි coming), pert. to the second of the four stages in the path to Nirvàna, viz, having only one more incarnation. The four stages are, සෝවාන්, සකෘදාගාමි, අනාගාමි and අර්‍හත්.

ස·කරුණා, a. (ස with), compassionate, merciful, කරුණාවන්ත.

සහස්‍රාක්‍ෂ, n. (අක්‍ෂ eyes), thousand-eyed one: ap. of Sakra, who being cursed by Buddha, became covered with obscene marks, which were afterwards in kindness changed by Buddha to eyes.

සඩංගුකාරයා, n. quarrelsome person, wrangler, brawler.
