සමාදාන·නඩු·ශාලාව, n. civil-court of justice.

සායම්·පොවා කියනවා, v. t. to colour (a statement), exaggerate, overstate, බේගල් කියනවා.

සෙන්කලය, n. D., shin or shank (of beef), මස්කෙණ්ඩය.

සතර·පූර්‍ව·නිමිති, n. pl. the four great pre-indications which the Bodhisat saw when driving to the pleasure garden and which led him to determine to become an ascetic and attain Buddhahood, viz. a sick man, a decrepit old man, a corpse and a monk.

සිය·වරක්, සිය·සැරයක්, n. a hundred times, viz. a hundred repetitions.

සීළු·මිණි·සෑය, n. crest or hair monument: a depository or දාගැබ, made by Brahma and placed in a Brahma world for the hair of Buddha which was cut of when he became an ascetic.

සාමුද්‍රය, n. (fr සමුද්‍ර), cuttle-fish bone, see සමුද්‍ර කළුය; (fr. ස + මුද්‍ර), spot or mark on the body, ලපය.
