අට පිරිකර, n. pl. the eight accoutrements or articles required by a B. P., viz. bowl, under-garment, single robe, double robe, girdle, knife or razor, needle and water-strainer: පාත්‍රය, අඳනය, තනිපටසිවුර, දෙපටසිවුර, පටිය, පිහිය, ඉඳිකටුව, පෙරහන්කඩ.

අ දූර දෘෂ්ටි, a. lit, and fig. short-sighted, දුර නොපෙනෙන; නුවණමඳ.

අංශ්‍ය, a. divisible, බෙදියහැකිවූ; that should be divided or shared, බෙදිය යුතු.

අලියා, n. elephant; pl. අලි or අලියෝ.

අති බහුලත්වය, n. great abundance, මහත්බහුල කම, exuberance, වැඩිකම.

අලික, n. See අලක E. of ආලේඛ්‍යය.

අනුතසුත්‍රයෙන්, ad. conformably to rule, orderly, strictly, නියමයට එකඟ ලෙසම.

අ ප්‍රති ශුඬ, a. unpurified, impure, අපිරිසිදු.

අත් කරදෙනවා, v. t. to give possession of, make over to, yield up to.

අ ප්‍රණීත, a. not dainty, plain (food), ඉතා රසවත් නොවන.
