වි·ඝන·නාශක, වි·ඝන·නාශන, වි·ඝන·රාජ, n. hindrance-destroyer or king: ap. of ගණේශ as the remover of hindrances, on which account his aid is sought at the commencement of any important business.

වි·නාසක, a. (වි priv., නාස nose), noseless, නාසයක් ඇති.

විෂ·ධූමය, n. smoke or foam from the mouth of a snake when hissing, supposed to be poisonous.

වීත·තණ්හාවූ, a. free from hatred or anger, වෙෂ or ක්ලේශදුරුවූ; ep. of a Rahat or Buddha.

විශ්‍රම, n. See විශ්‍රාමය.

වලඳනවා, (more correctly වළඳනවා) v. t. hon. to eat, කනවා, enjoy, භුක්තිවිඳිනවා; prêt වැල ඳුවා; v. n. වැලඳීම.

වෘශ්චිකයා, n. (වෘශ්ච to cut), scorpion, ගෝනුස් සා; centipede, පත්තෑයා: crab, කකුළුවා; the sign Scorpio.
