මහා·විල, n. (විල hole; chasm), the sky, අහස ආකාශය; hole, වළ cave, ගුහාව.

මණ්ඩලිකවෙනවා, v. i. to become circular, encircle, වටකරයනවා; coil one's self (as a snake), දරණ ගැහෙනවා.

මිනී·මස්, n. human flesh, flesh of a dead human body.

මස්·කඩය,මස්·කඩේ, n. meat-market, shambles, butucher's shop.

මාත්තු·කරනවා, v. t. to modify or qualify, metals by mixing; with තෙත, to wipe up or off see තෙත මාත්තුකරනවා.

මුක්·කාල, n. T., three-fourths, තුන්කාල, හත රෙන් තුන්පංගුවක්.

මිථ්‍යා·ලබ්ධිකයා, n. false religionist, heretic, මිථ්‍යාදෘෂ්ටි ගත් අය.

මැනව, මැනවි, a word equivalent to හොඳයි: 'It is good or it would be well if'. It is generally used with the past tense of a verb in a precative sense as a very respectful or earnest entreaty, as මේක කළ මැනව, 'It would be well if you did this, be pleased to do this.' [Cp. මනා.]

මොටියා, n. shoot, sprout, plumule (of a plantain tree &c.)
