භුජංගමයා, n. See භුජංගයා.

භද්‍රා, n. astrological period so called, said to be unlucky: see විෂ්ටිය; the Ganges of heaven, සුරගඟ; ap. of the second, seventh and twelfth days of the lunar fortnight; cow, එළදෙන. Bot.

භෛරවයා, n. the terrible one; ap. of Siva in one of his inferior manifestations, eight of which are thus named.

භය, n. fear, fright, terror, dread; flower of the trapa bispinosa, ඉකිලිය. Bet.

භාවය, n. (Sans. භාව), natural state or nature of anything, condition, state, character, ස්ව භාව; existence or state of existence, පැවැත්ම.

භද්‍ර·කුම්භය, භද්‍ර·ඝටය, n. auspicious water-jar, golden jar filled with water from a holy place or from the Gang and used at the consecration of a king; vase of flowers placed before the door of a house on festive occasions: බදුරුකළය.

භෘංගාවලිය, n. (භෘංග ආවලිය) row or swarm or flight of bees, මීමැසි රැළ.

භ්‍රමරයා, n. bee, මීමැස්සා, large black bee, බඹරා; lecher, සල්ලාලයා.

භූ·ඡත්‍රකය, n. (ඡත්‍රක cone), earth-cone, viz. mushroom, හත්ත.

භ්‍රෂ්ට, a. (fr. භ්‍ර(ං)ශ් to fall), lit. and fig. fallen, වැටුණු, depraved, දූෂ්‍යවූ; Er. for භෘෂ්ට q. v.
