පොරොන්දු, a. T., promissory.

පියා·ගැබ, n. wing-cavity or space under the wings for the young birds.

පයෝගඩය, පයෝඝනය, n. solid water, viz. hail, ගල්වර්‍ෂාව.

පතිත, a. fallen, වැටුණු; alighted (of flies &c.), වැහු; fallen in war or from virtue.

පොළිය, n. interest.

පිට·වෙනවා, v. i. to go or get out; extend beyond, protrude.

පර·සතු, a. belonging to another, අනුන්ට අයිති.

පංගුකාර, a. fellow-, who shares or partakes.

පවරනවා, v. t. to devolve upon, foist or thrust upon, impose; impute, as දොස් පවරනවා, accuse, censure; to invite and settle (a B.P. in a house during the rainy season); pret. පැවරුවා; v. n. පැවරීම.

ප්‍රති·ක්‍රියාව, n. requital (good or bad), ප්‍රතිඵලය retribution, retaliation, revenge, පළිගැනීම; remedying, පිළියම්කිරීම.
