ප්‍රාතිමෝක්‍ෂය, n. (pro-liberation), the name given to a collection of the various precepts contained in the Vinaya Pitaka. These precepts are read twice a month in every monastery, and individual priests are invited to make confession if they have broken any of the precepts read out. P. පාති මොක්‍ඛ.

‍පාක්කුඩම, n. royal present or tribute, තෑග්ග, පඬුර.

පිදහනයකරනවා, v. t. to close, shut, වසනවා.

ප්‍රති·ඵල·දායක, a. retributive, compensatory.

පුන්නක්කු, = පුණක්කු, poonac.

පෞෂ්ටික, a. nutritious, පෝෂ්‍යගුණ ඇති.

පද්මචරයා, n. lotus-frequenter, viz. the bee මී මැස්සා.

පාදාර්‍ඪය, n. (·අර්‍ඪය), half line or one eighth of a stanza, පාදභාගය.

පෙටියා, n. sheatfish, silurus pelorius; fiatfish.

පාණි·වාදය, n. killing, ප්‍රාණඝාතය.
