නාරස් (ස)නය, නාරාවය, n. crowbar, අලවංගුව; යකඩ උල.

නක්‍ෂත්‍ර·ඝෝෂණය, n. announcement of the appearance of a planet to be celebrated with festivity.

නිරනුකම්ප්‍ය, a. not to be pitied, දයාව නොලැබියයුතු.

නගර·ප්‍රදේශය, township, town district.

න, prefix, with a negative, privative or prohibitive force. Its normal form is නො, as නොකර, but its vowel is varied according to the vowel which follows and sometimes is merely න‍. Thus නාරින for නොඅරින, නෑර, for නොඇර, නේන for නොඑන, නූපන් for නො උපන්, නුදුටු &c., but not නී, as නොඉල්ලා, not නීල්ලා.

නිරතු, a. meaningless, තේරුමක් නැති, empty, void, හිස්.

නසිනවා, v. i. to die; pret. නැසුණ; v. n. නැසීම.

නි·මිලිත, a. twinkled, closed, ඇසිපියහෙළූ, වැසූණු (ඇස).
