දෙව්තුර, දෙව්තුරු, n. tree of paradise, said to yield whatever is desired, කප්තුර.

දීර්‍ඝ·කණ්ඨකයා, n. long-necked one, viz. crane, කොකා.

දවස·මුව, n. mouth or opening of the day, morning, පාන්දර.

දිව·නළුවා, n. divine dancer or dramatic performer in a divine world for the amusement of the gods.

ද්වීරූප, a. of two forms, biform, දෙරූප, දෙවිධි.

දුර්‍ද්‍රාව්‍යතාව, n. refractoriness (of metals).

දස·සීලය, n. B. P., the tenfold duty or ten duties, viz. abstaining from killing, theft, falsehood, sexual intercourse, intoxicants, eating after mid-day, from dancing, singing, drum-beating, witnessing ludicrous exhibitions, from indulging in perfumes, unguents, personal adornments &c., from the use of high and luxurious seats or beds, from accepting gold or silver or money.

දශාඥාව, n. the decalogue, ආඥා දශය.

දාත, a. divided, served, බෙදුණු, වෙන්වූ.

ද්වි·ජයා, n. the twice-born, viz. any animal produced from an egg, as a bird, snake or fish, දෙවරක් (හෙවත් බිජුවකින්) උපන්; brahmin, as born again when invested with the sacred thread, බ්‍රාහ්මණයා.
