අනු ලේපනය, අනු ලේපය, n. anointing, ආලේ පය.

අල්ලාප සල්ලාප, n. familiar talk, chat, conversation, courtship.

අග්නි කාරිකාව, අග්නි කාර්‍ය්‍යය, n. (කාරිකාව, &c., making), the maintaining of a saerificial fire; that which does it, viz, fuel, sp. ghee, ගිතෙල්.

අෂ්ට ධර්‍මය, n. the law of eight, viz. the eight essentials for becoming a Buddha: 1 manhood, 2 the male sex, 3 merit, 4 to have seen a Buddha, 5 ascetic condition, monkhood, 6 virtuousness, 7 aspiration to Buddhahood, 8 a strenuous heart for it.
