දශ·දාන·වස්තු, n. pl. ten kinds of articles presented to a B. P., viz. food, pleasant drink, residence, bed, lamp-oil, unguents, garments, vehicle, garlands and perfumes.

ත්‍රි·විද්‍යාව, n. threefold or three kinds of knowledge; ap. of the three principle Vedas: Rig, Yajur and Sāma; in B., knowledge of three important things, viz. අනිත්‍යය, දුඃඛය අනාත්මය: i.e., impermanancy, sorrow (of all existence), and the non-existence of a permanent self. This is one of the chief doctrines of B., and the chief study of all B. ascetics.
