චන්‍ද්‍ර·දාර, n. pl. lit, the moon's wives, viz. the twenty-seven daughters of දක්‍ෂා, who being married to the moon represent the twenty-seven lunar mansions.

ත්‍රි·භාර්‍ය්‍යතාව, n. the condition of having three wives, trigamy.

තුන්·කත, n. one having three wives: ap. of Siva.

දක්‍ෂයා, n. clever person; name of a son of Brahma. He was called දක්‍ෂ because he sprang into being from the right-hand thumb of his father. දාක්‍ෂායිණියෝ, n. pl. the 27 lunar mansions, in myth. they were the daughters of දක්‍ෂ, and wives of the moon.

බහු·භාර්‍ය්‍ය, a. having many wives.

මඩොර, මඩෝර, n. name of one of Sakra's wives.

සනාතනී, n. fem. ap. of දුර්‍ගා, ලක්‍ෂමි and සරස්වති, wives respectively of the above three.
