උද්භූත, a. (උද් up, භූ to be), born, born of, උපන්; sprung up, අටගත්.

ඌරව්‍යයා, ඌර ජයා, n. one sprung from the thigh (of Brahma), one of the third class, viz. a Vaishya, වෛශ්‍යයා.

කලේලියට, ad. finelv, sprucely &c, කදිමලෙස, යසට.

ධර්‍ම·ශාස්ත්‍රය, n. jurisprudence, science or knowledge of law or Bana.

නැබ·පියුම, n. navel lotus, viz. the lotus which sprung from the navel of Vishnu and gave birth to Brahma.

නීති·විද්‍යාව, නීති·ශාස්ත්‍රය, n. knowledge of law, jurisprudence, ethics.

ප·ජයා, n. (ප foot, ජ born), Sudra, one of a low caste (as sprung from the feet of Brahma): vile or mischievous, man, නීචයා.

පරමාත්මය, n. (Sans. ·ආත්මන්,·ආත්මා), Supreme Spirit or Being from whom all other spirits have sprung and to whom at length, it is said, they will be re-united.

බෝ,බෝගහ, peepul or sacred fig-tree, Ficus religiosa (Urti.). It is regarded as sacred because, it is said, on the day when Gautama attained Buddhahood he sat down under it on a throne which had miraculouby sprung up for him on the instant: see බෝධිපර්‍ය්‍යංකය.

මනෝ·ජ, මනෝ·ජන්ම, a. sprung from the mind සිතෙන් අටගත්.

මහිසුත, n. lit. earth-son: ap. of the regent of Mars, said to have sprung from the soil near Ujjain which was sprinkled with Siva's perspiration.

වජ්‍රාසනය, n. (·ආ:), Buddha's diamond-throne, which sprung up at the root of the බෝගහ when he threw down eight handfuls of Kusa grass.

ශුද්‍රයා, n. mas. male of the fourth or servile caste, said to have sprung from the feet of Brahma, a sudra.
