අතු පාහිනවා, අතු බානවා, v. to lop or take off branches, leaving only the trunk.

අන්න ශේෂ, n. pl. leavings of food, orts, offal, ඉතුරැ කෑම.

පරි·හරණය, n. seizing, ඇල්ලීම; protecting, protection, ආරක්‍ෂාව; leaving, avoiding, අත් ඇරීම, වැලකීම‍.

පාන්සිය, n. leaving, bope.

ඵෙල, ඵෙලි, ඵෙලිකා, n. orts, leavings of a meal, droppings from the mouth, ඉතුරුවූ අහර, ඉඳුල්.
