තේ·කිසිනු, n. (glorious asceticism), Buddha's power, acquired by the severest religious austerities, of diffusing a fiery splendour from his body sufficient to illumine the region around him for many miles; ascetic observance or attainment so called, viz, fixing the mind exclusively upon the element of fire. ප්‍රති·ෂ්ඨාව, n. (ප්‍රති for, in lieu of,ෂ්ඨා (ස්ථා) be), favour, help, පිහිට; dowry, දායාදය; establishing, fixing, පිහිටුවීම; fixture (as the earth, site, place); accomplishment, completion as a religious ceremony, act of consecration &c.; stanza of a particular metre.
