ආනා පාන සතිය, ආනා පාන සමෘතිය, n. remembering or meditating severally upon one's inspiration and expiration.

ඉක්මෙනවා, ඉක්මයනවා, v. i. to pass away, elapse, transpire, expire (of time); pret. ඉක් මුණා, ඉක්මගියා; p. pl. ඉක්ම or ඉක්මි.

ඉකුත්වෙනවා, v. to elapse, emerge, pass away, පසුවෙනවා; expire, die, තුරන්දුවෙනවා, මැරෙ නවා; v. n. ඉකුත්වීම.

ඌර්‍ඬව ශ්වාසය, n. expiration, ප්‍රශ්වාසය; hard breathing, අමාරුවෙන් හුස්ම හෙළීම; dying respiration, අන්තිම හුස්ම.

චුතවෙනවා, v. i. to depart; decease, expire, die, පහවෙනවා, තුරන්වෙනවා, මැරෙනවා.

නිශ්ශවාසය, n. breathing out, expiration, ප්‍රශ්වාස කිරීම.

පණයනවා, v. i. lit. life goes, to die, expire, මැරෙනවා.

පව්·මකනවා, v. to blot out sin, expiate sin.

ප්‍රශ්චාසකිරිම, ප්‍රශ්වාසය, n. breathing out, expiration of breath.

ප්‍රශ්වාස, a. (ප්‍ර forth, ශ්වාස breathing), pert. to breathing out, expiratory.

පාරාජිකා, a. meriting expulsion; pert. to the four heinous offences which exclude from the priesthood and for which there is no expiation in this life. viz. sexual intercourse, theft, murder, false assumption of the name and character of a 'rahat'.

මරගාතය, n. death-struggle; fig. death-like expiring effort, violent effort; annoyance.

මැරෙනවා, v. i. to die, expire; pret. මැරුණා.

මියනවා, v. i. to die, expire, මැරෙනවා.

ශ්වාස·ප්‍රශ්වාසය, n. inspiration and expiration, respiration, breathing, හුස්මගැනීම ඇරීම.
