අති ක්‍රාන්තවෙනවා, v. i. to go or get beyond, &c.; pass away, elapse, transpire, පසුවෙනවා, ඉක් මයනවා.

ඉක්ම, p. pl. of ඉක්මෙනවා; having elapsed &c,

ඉක්මෙනවා, ඉක්මයනවා, v. i. to pass away, elapse, transpire, expire (of time); pret. ඉක් මුණා, ඉක්මගියා; p. pl. ඉක්ම or ඉක්මි.

ඉකුත්වෙනවා, v. to elapse, emerge, pass away, පසුවෙනවා; expire, die, තුරන්දුවෙනවා, මැරෙ නවා; v. n. ඉකුත්වීම.

ගතවෙනවා, v. i. to pass away, elapse, lapse.

ගෙවෙනවා, v. i. to become paid off; wear away; be spent, elapse (of time); pret. ගෙ වුණා.

පසු·වෙනවා, v. i. to get or drop behind (in walking &c.); (of time) to pass, pass away, elapse; fare, spend (one's days), as සැපෙන් පසුවෙනවා, live in luxury or comfortably.

භද්‍ර·කල්පය, n. the auspicious කල්පය or period of the world: there are said to be four kalpas, three of which have elapsed; this is the fourth and is called the auspicious kalpa because in it five Buddhas are to appear, four of whom have already appeared, and the fifth, called Maitri Buddha, is yet to come.
