අක් යහළ, අක් යාළ, n. the first load, the load of paddy separated to God out of that first brought home.

ගෙන්නනවා, ගෙන්නවනවා, ගෙන්වනවා, v. c. to get brought; pret. ගෙන්නෙවුවා or ගෙන්නුවා or ගෙන්වූවා; v. n. ගෙන්නවීම, ගෙන්වීම.

පරි·භෘත, a. nourished, brought up, ඇතිදැඩිවූ; trained, පුහුණුවූ.

ප්‍ර·සූත, a. (ප්‍ර forth, සූ parturition), issued, brought forth (from the womb), බිහිවූ born, උපන්.

පාත්‍ර·ධාතුව, n. bowl-relic presented to Buddha by the guardian deities of the four quarters of the world. It is said it was made of the clay of blue sapphire, and was afterwards brought from India and placed as a sacred relic in a Dāgoba on the border of the Mahaweli ganga near Kandy.

භගීරථ, n. name of a king, whose religious austerities, it is said, brought the Ganges down from heaven.
