කාම භවය, n. a state in which desire exists, viz. hell, as a beast, a goblin, ප්‍රේත, an Asura or Titan, අසුර, the human world or any one of the six divine worlds.

කැතයා, n filthy, person, beast; shabby or mean person.

ධූර්‍ධරයා, n. burden-bearer, beast of burden: see ධූරන්‍ධර &c.

ධෞරේයයා, n. burden-bearer, බර ගෙනයන්නා; beast of burden; horse, බරගෙනයන සතා, අශ්වයා.

නඛරායුධයා, n. lit. claw-fighter, viz. beast of prey, as a lion, cock &c.

නාදකරනවා, v. to make a sound: to roar (as beasts); ring (as bells); sing, whistle (as birds).

පස්·විසි·මහ·බය, n. the twenty-five, great fears or causes of fear, viz. birth, old age, sickness, sorrow and death, which, as belonging to the past. present and future, are reckoned as fifteen, to which are added the following ten, viz. fear of thieves, enmity, oppression, persecution, punishment, conscience, water, fire, wild beasts, and incurable disease.

ප්‍ර·සව්‍ය·වෛද්‍ය·ක්‍රමය, n. allopathy, heteropathy ප්‍ර·සහයා, n. (ප්‍ර emp., සහ strong), beast or bird of prey, මස්කන සතා‍.

මෘගාකාර, a, (·ආකාර), beast-like, beastly, foul.

මෘගාදනවා, n. (·අදන eating), beast or deer eater, viz. hyena, බලුදිවියා or leopard, කොටි යා.

මෘගේන්‍ද්‍රයා, n. (මෘග ඉන්‍ද්‍රයා), lord of beasts, viz. lion.
