lබහු·නිෂ්ඨිවනතාව, n. (නිෂ්ඨිවන spitting), excess of saliva, ptyalism, කෙළවැඩිවීම or වැඩිවූ ගතිය.

අධිෂ්ඨිත, a. fixed, පිහිටි, appointed, determined, නියමවූ; resolved, intent, ස්ථිර අදහස් ඇති.

අෂ්ඨිය, n. metre of sixteen syllables to the line; also for අස්ථිය, which see.

අෂ්ඨිලාව, n. a round pebble or swelling; an internal tumour.

නි·ෂ්ඨිවනය, නි·ෂ්ඨීවය, n. (නි forth), spitting, spittle, sputum, කෙළ.

නි·ෂ්ඨිවනයකරනවා, v. t. to expectorate, spit, කෙළ ගසනවා.

ප්‍රති·ෂ්ඨිත, a. fixed, established, පිහිටි, confirmed, firm, ස්ථිරවූ; consecrated, කැපවූ; established in life, endowed, married, දායාදලැබූ, විවාහිත; completed. සම්පූර්‍ණවූ; famous, කීර්‍තති මත්.

පාණ්ඩු, n. name of a king of ancient Delhi. See යුධිෂ්ඨිර.

යුධිෂඨිර, a. (යුධි in war, ෂ්ඨිර for ස්ථිර), firm or steadfast in war.

යුධිෂ්ඨිර, n. eldest or the five පාණ්ඩව princes and leader in their war against the Kurus (කෞරව).

රක්ත·නීෂ්ඨිවනය, n. blood-spitting, hemoptysis, ලේ වමනය කිරීම.

ශක·වර්‍ෂය, n. ශක: a term applied to any king from the beginning of whose reign the years are reckoned, so that ශකවර්‍ෂය is the Saka year or era, of which in this කලියුගය there have been three, instituted severally by the kings යුධිෂ්ඨිර, වික්‍රමාදිත්‍ය, and ශාලිවාහන; this last is the present era which began A. D. 78.

සු·ප්‍රතිෂ්ඨිත, a. firmly fixed, well established, firm, ස්ථීරලෙස පිහිටි; consecrated, කැපවූ; celebrated, ප්‍රතිෂ්ඨ, කීර්‍තතිමත්.
