කොඬොලා, n. cobra, නයා, නාගයා.

ධනජයා, n. ap. of Agni the god of fire, also of Arjuna; an infernal serpent, නාගයා.

ධෘත·රාෂ්ට්‍රයා, n. serpent of පාතාලය, නාගයා; a god, දෙවියෙක්; a king of the moon-race, චන්‍ද්‍රවංශයේ රජෙක්; goose or swan, පාත්තයා or හංසයා; chief of the ගන්‍ධර්‍වයෝ.

නා, n. (but නයා if the indef. is නයෙක්), cobra, නයා, නාගයා, elephant, ඇතා; ruler, නාථයා, නායකයා.

නාග·භවනය, n. the residence or world of the Nāgas or serpent demigods, called also පාතා ලය: see නාගයා.

නාග·රාජයා, n. ap. of Ananta king of the Nāgas, who is said to be able to assume the human form and intermarry with mankind. See නාගයා.

සතර·වරම්·දෙවියෝ, n. pl. (වරම් chief), the four guardian deities of the four cardinal points and the four quarters of the world, viz. on the East, ධෘතරාෂ්ට්‍ර, chief-of the ගන්‍ධර්‍ව යෝ on the South විරුඪ, chief of the කුම්භා ණ්ඩයෝ; on the West, විරූපාක්‍ෂ, chief of the නාගයෝ; on the North, වෛශ්‍රවණ, chief of the යක්‍ෂයෝ.

සාර්‍පපිය, n. ninth lunar asterism, serpent-asterism, over which the Nàgas (නාගයෝ) are said to preside.
