චන්‍ද්‍ර·දාර, n. pl. lit, the moon's wives, viz. the twenty-seven daughters of දක්‍ෂා, who being married to the moon represent the twenty-seven lunar mansions.

දක්‍ෂයා, n. clever person; name of a son of Brahma. He was called දක්‍ෂ because he sprang into being from the right-hand thumb of his father.
