ආහෝ, int. or particle expressive of doubt, දෝ, as ගියාදෝ!

දෝ, inter, affix, for ද, but expressing doubt, as ඔහු ගියාදෝ, whether he is gone.

දෝහෝ, දෝහෝයි, inter. suf. whether perhaps, ඔහු ගියාදෝහෝයි, whether he may have gone, whether or not he went (I know not).

යනු, n. lit. that says or runs so and so, viz. that is or is called: used to specify things, as අයනු or අයන්න, කයනු, that which is called අ &c., viz. the letter අ &c., ඔහු ගියාය යනු, the (statement) that he went.

ලු, v. adj. pret. of ලනවා: put, placed, ලැවූ තැබූ; used also in quotations in the sense of It is laid down or said that, as ඔහු ගියාලු, it is said he has gone or went.

වි·ගත, a. (වි away, ගත gone), who has gone, departed, ගියාවූ; separated, disappeared, පහ වු, දුරුවූ, lost, void of, නැතිවූ; gloomy, obscure අඳුරු.
