අපත යනවා, v. i. (අපත away), to run to waste, to waste.

අපත් ප්‍රාප්ත, a. (අපත් loss), unfortunate, suffering loss or injury, විපතෙන් යුක්ත, විපත විඳින.

අපදාර්‍ථය, n. (අපද අර්‍ථය), non-entity, නැති දෙ යක්; calamity, විපත (er. for ආප දාර්‍ථය)

අපරත්වය, n. (අපරතත්වය) contrariety, E. S., posteriority, පසුව පැමිණීම.

අපරානතය, n. (අපර අනතය), the other extremity, the termination, the end, referring to the end of the quiescent or vacant Kalpa, opposed to පූර්‍වානතය.

අපරෝපක්‍රමය, n. (අපර උපක්‍රමය) another scheme, or method or contrivance, වෙන උප ක්‍රමය.

අපාම්පතියා, n. (අපාම් Sans. gen. pl. of අප: water, පති Lord), Lord of the waters: ap. of the ocean, සමුද්‍රය, and of Varuna: see වරුණ.

අබදය, n. (අප් water, දය giver), cloud, වලාකුළ; year, අවුරුද්ද.

අබධිය, n. (අප් water, ධි to contain), the sea, ocean, මුහුද.

අබ්භූත ධම්ම, n. (අප් or අබ් priv., භූත existing, ධම්ම P. of ධර්‍ම), non-existent law or event, unprecedented occurrence, wonder, miracle, අද්භූතය, විස්මයක; B. a work on the miraculous powers of the disciples of Buddha.

ආර්‍ය්‍යාපවාදය, ආර්‍ය්‍යාපවාදය, n. (අපවාදය, උප වාදය), reviling dignitaries or saints, උත්තම යන්ට නින්දාකෙරීම.

ස්වර්‍ගාපවර්‍ශය, n. (අපවර්‍ගය), transmigrationless heaven, viz. heaven free from further liability to transmigration.

සුරාපගාව, n. (අපගාව river), celestial river, ap of the Ganges, ගංගා නම් ගංගාව.
